2015 Reds

Meet the Reds ...

The Towamencin Reds earned promotion to Division 2 of the ICSL after a strong run in Division 3 West, where they were tied atop the division, finishing second on tiebreaker. Defensively dominant, the Reds allowed the fewest league goals of any U10 Boys team in the Philadelphia area — just seven all season. Out of 200 teams across the ICSL, CSL, and Acela leagues, they were the only team to concede fewer than 10 goals.

The Reds kicked off their season with a runner-up finish at the Colleen Reilly Tournament and are currently on track for a top-two finish in their winter indoor league. They compete year-round but understand that some players participate in other sports outside the fall season which may take priority then. For those whose primary focus is soccer, the team will be forming a winter futsal tournament team and exploring additional offseason training opportunities. The Reds are committed to challenging players now, ensuring they are prepared for when the wins truly count later in their soccer journeys.

Beyond the game, the Reds foster a strong and welcoming community of players and families who regularly connect off the field. The team is led by an experienced coaching staff, including Laura White, Angelo Waters, Chris Villegas, and TSC Technical Director Matt Cleary, a US Soccer Federation National C License coach.
