ABOUT THE TEAM...

The Titans had a great 2024 season and we’re excited about building on our success. Some highlights from Fall 2024:
- EVERY player scored a goal in live game action (it’s not just a talking point in the initial blurb).
- We finished third in our division (Division 5 West) with a winning record (6 wins and 4 losses) and a positive goal differential.
- Third place (out of eight teams) in our bracket at the Dillsburg Shootout. We earned those medals, it wasn’t just for participation!

Coaching Philosophy…
As coaches, we truly believe in player development and establishing a love for the sport. We believe that players should try multiple positions and that it’s okay to make mistakes. It is our job as coaches to put players in positions to have success now, but also to put them in challenging situations to ensure that they continue to grow.
We ask our players to play multiple positions and deploy different tactics as we believe this gives them the best opportunity to grow into well rounded players at the older levels.
All the coaches on this team have different philosophy and tactic preferences, but we all agree that player engagement is the most important facet of a successful team. When kids have fun, they keep playing. If they keep playing, they get better.
We also believe that it’s okay to play other sports – we encourage and accommodate the boys’ other sports commitments outside the fall season. Our fall season we do ask that players and families are engaged and dedicated to our team as this is our main season. We will work with families during the winter and spring to keep them engaged in soccer while also exploring their other interests.
Financial burdens should never be a reason children do not play sports. If you are interested in soccer through Towamencin but are concerned about the cost, please reach out as there are pathways so every child can participate should their skill level allow them to make the team.
Having success takes a COLLECTIVE effort from every player and coach on the TEAM. That’s how we practice and that’s how we play.
