Travel Softball

TYA Xplosion is travel softball at its best! It is a girls’ fast pitch softball program that enables young women to play at a higher, more competitive level, many of whom have a goal of attaining college scholarships in the near future. Our teams are comprised of advanced level athletes from the greater Towamencin area including the areas of North Penn, Lansdale, Souderton, Methacton, Collegeville, Quakertown. and Montgomeryville. 

The travel season runs about 10 months a year. Training is traditionally held in the winter months; practices and games happen in the summer and fall months. Xplosion teams play mostly "Class A and B” level tournaments; there may also be “C” level tournaments as well. Our teams compete in USSSA State and National tournaments.

Travel team tryouts are typically held at the end of July. All tryouts are held at Bustard Road Park located at 1979 Bustard Road, Harleysville, PA 19438.
