Bat Information

Tee-ball bats

Tee-ball bats are extremely lightweight and designed for players 6 years old and younger. These bats are specifically made to hit off of a tee only -- not as part of a live pitching activity. These bats have a 2 1/4 inch barrel diameter and a -10 to -14 length to weight ratio.

Coach Pitch baseball bats

Coach Pitch baseball bats are shorter, lighter bats with a larger barrel designed for players 8 years old and younger. These baseball bats generally have a 2 5/8 inch or 2 3/4 inch barrel diameter and a length to weight ratio between -10 and -12.

Fastpitch softball bats

Fastpitch softball bats have a 2 1/4 inch barrel diameter and a length to weight ratio between -8 and -12. These fastpitch bats are to be used in fastpitch leagues by female players ranging in age from 5 to college age and beyond. Fastpitch softball bats can be made of Aluminum, a Composite, or a combination of both materials called Half and Half. There are few restrictions on these softball bats, but always check with your league's rules and regulations before purchasing a fastpitch softball bat.
