Fall Baseball

Hatfield-Towamencin Baseball partners with other local organizations to offer a competitive inter-community Fall baseball program. The structure of the Fall Program is separated into A, AA, and AAA divisions. We also offer baseball for older players through our Connie Mack program.

Unlike our Spring program, registration for Fall Baseball is limited due to fewer teams. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and we limit the number of players on each team to 13. We typically field three teams in each of the A, AA and AAA Divisions. We accept a total of 39 registrations for each of those divisions. If enough players register to field four teams at a certain level, we will add a fourth team to that division as long as we are able to provide adequate coaching for each team.

A player draft is used within each division so talent can be divided as evenly as possible among the teams and to ensure that each team is competitive (i.e., pitchers and catchers are evenly distributed across teams).

The season begins the weekend after Labor Day. There are generally 1 or 2 games played per weekend, and these are played on either Friday nights (under lights), or on Saturday and Sunday during the day. Games are held at Towamencin facilities, as well as the fields of other participating programs. Each of the divisions usually holds a small season-ending tournament which concludes the last weekend in October. Trophies are awarded.
