What makes these matchups so special? New York City happens to be the team that beat the Union last year in the semi-finals. But NYCFC will be facing a brand new Union team with the likes of forward Ezekiel Allah (from Sweden’s IF Brommapojkarna), defender Finn Sundstrom (from North Carolina FC) and mid-fielder JC Olney (another homegrown talent like Cavan Sullivan).
