By now many of you may be wondering: “It’s the middle of January – shouldn’t we be signing up for Baseball and Softball by now?!”

The answer is a resounding “YES – it’s time!”

Registration for our Spring sports were postponed a week to allow us to migrate to a brand new online registration and website management system. The registration part of the system is now "live"; just click on this link to signup: TYA 2021 Baseball and Softball Registration.

You'll find these sessions have been opened on the system:

  • 2021 Spring Baseball; this includes the following programs:
    • Quick Ball (4-6 Years Old)
    • "A" Coach Pitch (6-8 Years Old)
    • "AA" Player Pitch (8-10 Years Old)
    • Minors (9-11 Years Old)
    • Majors (11-12 Years Old)
  • 2021 Early Spring Connie Mack
  • 2021 American Legion
  • 2021 Spring Softball; this includes the following programs:
    • SoftTee Ball (4-6 Years Old)
    • Coach Pitch (6-8 Years Old)
    • Minors (9-10 Years Old)
    • Majors (11-12 Years Old)
    • Seniors (13-16 Years Old)

We realize this is a new registration system and will take a little bit of time to get used to. We expect to hit a few “hiccups” as we shake out any of the bugs in the system. So we ask your patience and understanding as we roll this out to our club members. If you have any questions or concerns, please bring them to our attention right away so these can be addressed promptly for everyone’s benefit. You can email any to HTBaseball@hotmail.com

In the coming weeks, we will also complete migration of our current website to the new platform, which will provide greater flexibility and easier content management services so we can maintain and publish current information and relevant content for our families. Watch for updates on those plans as we continue to move forward.

Thanks to the rich diversity, financial stability, and exceptional efforts of our Board, Sport Directors and Committees, and many volunteers and families, TYA is emerging from the current pandemic stronger and more versatile than ever.  After 50 years of operation, we remain a vital part of the community, and look forward to continue providing excellent, wholesome, and character-rich youth sport activities for the greater Towamencin area for many years to come.  Thank you for being a part of the journey!

Kind Regards,

Jeff Baer
