Will our kids be able to play soccer this year? We think so, and we hope sooner rather than later.
As we struggle to weather the daily challenges of the global pandemic, the Towamencin Soccer Club continues to plan and organize our upcoming activities. That's why we've decided to open up registration for our intramural soccer program.
Lots of competitive play....action and fun...terrific training and learning. The season officially starts in late July and runs for 10 solid weeks -- culminating in all-day tournaments in early October. Teams meet twice each week for training and game play (boys on Monday and Wednesday nights; girls on Tuesday and Thursday nights).
For our younger players, we have a special co-ed program for U5 and U6 boys and girls (birth years 2015-2016). And, we've changed our standard IM program (separate girls and boys teams) to run from U8 (birth years 2013 - 2014) all the way up to U19 (birth years 2004 - 2002).This now includes U14 (birth years 2008 - 2007) and U16 (birth years 2006 - 2005) age groups as well.
The cost is inexpensive -- just $115 per player (which includes dedicated team coaches and top-notch soccer uniforms).
We realize these are tough times for many of our members (especially small business owners, restauranteurs and local gyms) so we've created a payment plan that will allow registrants to pay $25 at the time of registration, $45 at the end of May, and $45 at the end of June. We hope this payment plan helps to alleviate some of the fiscal challenges during this time.
Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy one of the best intramural soccer programs around! Take the time and sign up today!
Please Note: While we remain optimistic about the upcoming intramural program, we cannot control the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this uncertainty, the season start date and ending date are subject to change. We will provide you with regular updates.
Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay tuned for more!
